Firefox's notepad, aka QuickNote, is a note taking program integrated into Firefox. It provides a quick and powerful way for users to take notes while surfing the web. It's great functionality allows for a perfect tool to aid research on the web.
Open QuickNote by going to Tools-QuickNote and choosing a format such as Float, Sidebar or Tab.
By choosing Sidebar, QuickNote will display on the left side of the browser. You may now type in your notes.
If you find something interesting on the webpage, you may select, and right select "Send to QuickNote".
This will copy the selected text into QuickNote.
